Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Reventlify platform. These terms govern your access to and use of our services, including event creation, ticket purchasing, affiliate participation, and wedding invitation features.
By accessing or using Reventlify (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, event organizers, affiliates, and any other party who interacts with the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
Event organizers are responsible for the accuracy of all event details including dates, times, venues, pricing, and descriptions. Reventlify acts as a platform to facilitate ticket sales and does not organize, manage, or guarantee any event listed on the Platform. Ticket buyers acknowledge that the event organizer is solely responsible for the event. Reventlify is not liable for event cancellations, changes, or failures by the organizer.
Every registered user on Reventlify is automatically eligible to participate in the affiliate program. When you share a unique affiliate link and a ticket purchase is made through it, you earn 50% of Reventlify's platform fee on that transaction. Earnings are tracked on your dashboard and can be withdrawn at any time through the Platform's payment system. Reventlify reserves the right to modify the affiliate commission structure with reasonable notice to users.
All ticket purchases are processed through our secure payment partners. Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless stated otherwise. Refunds are subject to the refund policy set by the individual event organizer. Reventlify does not guarantee refunds unless the event is cancelled by the organizer. Affiliate earnings are non-refundable once withdrawn. Withdrawals are subject to processing times determined by our payment partners.
To protect ticket buyers, all event revenue held in a regime's balance is locked and cannot be transferred or withdrawn until 48 hours (2 full days) after the event ends. Withdrawals or fund transfers from an event's balance become available on the 3rd day after the event's scheduled end time. Only the event creator and users assigned the Super Admin role on that event are permitted to initiate a transfer of regime funds. Other roles — including Admin, Usher, Bouncer, and Marketer — do not have the ability to transfer event funds regardless of the time elapsed. This policy exists to allow time for any legitimate buyer disputes or refund requests to be addressed before funds are released.
The wedding invitation feature is available to users who set up a wedding event on the Platform. Invitation links are unique per guest and are not transferable. Each invitation QR code can only be used to check in one person. Guests who share their invitation link do so at their own risk, as the QR code is marked as used on first scan. Reventlify does not store or share guest personal information beyond what is necessary to operate the invitation and attendance features.
You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates these Terms. Specifically, you must not: create fake events or fraudulent ticket listings; use bots or automated tools to purchase tickets; attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Platform's security; harass or harm other users; impersonate another person or entity; or sell tickets at prices above the listed face value without authorization from Reventlify.
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to the Reventlify name, logo, software, designs, and written materials, is owned by Reventlify or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without express written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reventlify and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. This includes but is not limited to losses resulting from event cancellations, payment disputes, or unauthorized access to your account. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Reventlify in the three months prior to the claim.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
